Until We Meet Again

So the journey has finally comes to an end. No more tests, no more exams, no more presentations, no more assignments, etc. Greater challenges are waiting ahead.

Along the journey, I had met lots of friends and soon they had turn into great buddies of mine. Being a lone ranger at start and to end it with bunch of buddies had definitely filled my journey with joy and laughter. Without you guys, my road would have been dull and mundane.

The time we spent in CC, the excitement at the snooker and pool table, the joy we had in every trip and not forgetting the countless time we had our usual 'tarik' session had definitely carved a beautiful memory in my heart. And of coz the thrill of meeting assignment deadlines and final exams has always make our life much more 'merrier'. Time passes so swiftly as if all these happened yesterday.

Thank you guys for giving me such a wonderful journey and special thanks to those who had helped me out along the journey. It will never be forgotten till the end of time. Lastly, if by any chance I actually mis-spoken my words and did something wrong, a sincere apology from me.

So guys, every meeting must have its departure. Its time for us to depart now as we continue our life journey. Good luck and all the best in the future undertakings and till we meet again, sayonara~~

First Post for Twenty Ten!

Well well..it has been a long 8 months since I last dropped a word here in my abandoned blog huh. Am alive here and still kicking!

So what am I gonna talk here? Haven't been doing any productive stuff for the past few months except contributing to the economic growth if you guys considered that productive. I've been spending way too much seriously. To be frank, at this very moment, my bank account only left less than 10 ringgit and if I were to get robbed, the robber would be cursing the hell outta me. Though I'm pursuing a major in finance, my financial management is an epic failure. Looking at how thin my wallet now is seriously a pain in the ass!

Alright putting that fuss aside, the other thing that concern me now is securing a job. Hmm..getting a job that suits your interest nowadays is definitely a mission 101. Guess I'll just settle with a low-end job for the time being to settle off my financial stress or else I'll be filing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy sooner or later.

Will be heading to the end of my Uni life in a couple of days. The journey is kinda bumpy with lots of ups and downs, tears and and laughter but heck! im enjoying every single bit of it. So to all of my friends who will be sitting for their finals in less than 48 hours, all the best and may the light be with you!

The Best is Yet to Come

Hmm...so it has been 3 months since I last drop a word here huh..cool cool..time flies. This blog is near to dead. Found abso-the-lutely nothing to blog about...guess I'll talk some nonsense here to give it a string of life.

Song playing for the moment, I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas, cool song and I just kinda hooked to it..

It's the exam season again and I just can't feel a tiny winy bit of pressure, wtf is wrong with me, or maybe I just got immuned to examinations...motivation needed, anyone kind enough to motivate me..I'll accept any sort of suggestions.

Ok and in a fortnight or so, a good friend of mine will be receiving his silver medal for one of the most successful achievement in his life. And I can assure you guys that this silver medal is even more priceless than the one won by Lee Chong Wei in the Olympics.

Save the best for the last, I'll blog about his winning moment in the next post...

Guess I need to do something with this blog already. I had abandoned this blog long enough that even me myself barely know the existence of it. Not that I don't wanna blog but with the god damn temperature of 33 - 36 degree celcius everyday really kills the mood of doing everything. So to make things short, I'll just post any available recent photos. Tired of doing a long winding wordy post under this kinda temperature, maybe those who read it might just give up the second he/she read the first word. Somemore I punya Ingrish tak baik, so to avoid paiseh-ness, it's better to keep the words at minimum....

Seriously this trip was rather adventurous, getting lost in the middle of the town, took the wrong turn, asking for directions, trying to crack our brain figuring out the way on the road maps (sorry la no gps system, poor people ma) and finally reaching our destinations was really fun and satisfying.

Earlier this month went for a karaoke session at Greenbox. This was my first sing-k session since probably maybe approximately about dunno how long ago. It's like ages ago and I gave up counting the days backwards.

Later on the same day, a 'yum seng' session at Hee Lai Ton Restaurant

Just 3 days ago, went to watch Night At The Museum 2.

It was hilarious though it's not that funny compared to the first one but still, it's a nice movie. At least I find it more worthwhile than Star Trek I watched a couple of weeks ago. Seriously Star Trek was disappointing, maybe it's for me only..I'm not sure.

Ok that's some of the most recent photos I could get. Older ones are from paleolithic period so I guess it's pointless to post it up. Moreover this post is just to get my blog updated so it's good to keep things simple.

I'll try to update it more frequently if I have the time but don't expect any entries in the near future. My next post probably will come errr..God knows when lahh..lolz...

I realized these days I've been rather demotivated to do whatever I've been doing. Everything seems to come not at the right time. Tons of stuffs are running on my mind and how I wish I could just brainwash myself to the state where it used to be. The happy go lucky type of me had forever gone. Ciggarates and alcohol have been my good companion these days but only to a certain extent. For that moment you think everything will be fine only to found out that nothing had changed the next morning. I just can't stay focus in whatever I'm doing for even if I'm doing it, it is done without my soul. Just like the fire without the flame. All I need is some sort of inspiration to get me going and I realized a smile would do the best. It's kinda unscientific but smiling is pretty infectious and you catch it like the flu. When someone smiling at me today, I started smiling too. I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin and she started smiling too. Ok, maybe that person thinks it's kinda silly smiling to myself, but whatever it is, I just passed on the smile on to her. It is pretty unexplainable how a single smile can inspired me and I realized my mind feels refreshed whenever I started smiling. Far more effective from ciggarates and alcohol. By right, it's far more healthier. So, if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected. Everyone needs a smile =)

The Clash of the Titans

Been enjoying 4 days of break, inclusive of Saturday and Sunday + Monday holiday + Tuesday no class. Normal day to day routine shall continue tomorrow. Assignments + projects due dates are approaching. Anyway the good thing about this week is my favorite football club Manchester United will be featuring in two big clashes against two big clubs. Guess this week will be another week for me to stay up late at night or should I say early in the morning and going classes with dark circles around the eyes =)

The first match will be kicking off in 48 hours where Man Utd will host Inter Milan for the second leg of the Champions League. First leg ended in a 0-0 draw and this return leg will be one hell of a clash between these two European giants to determine which team will march into the quarter-final. Moreover, this would also be a personal battle between the so-called good friend, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose "The Special One" Mourinho to sort out their unfinish business.

Just 2 days after the previous match, Man Utd a.ka The Red Devils will be again featuring in a vital match where they will go head-to-head against Liverpool in the English Barclaycard Premier League. Man Utd the English champions for last season will have to defend their title from their nearest rival. Though it looks pretty impossible for Liverpool to chase but it's still mathematically reachable. This match will give The Red Devils an opportunity to knock The Reds out from the title challenge once and for all =)

And of coz both this matches will take place in none other than...

Old Trafford "Theatre of Dreams"

This will be a great advantage playing in the homeground with the mass supports from the home crowd.

Time for me to stock up some potato chips and drinks while anticipating the arrival of both these great matches ^^V

CNY Week

It was a hectic week for me, in the sense that it was activity-packed and filled with laughter and enjoyment.

CNY is as usual for me, went back to grandparents' place for some reunion sessions and of coz ang pao grabbing session as well. Total amount still ok la considering the current economic recession the world is having right now.

Been gambling all day long since the first day of CNY. Limpeh lose till I 'chua sai' on the first day itself. Seriously 'jia lat'...this would be a bad start for me. Went to Genting on the 2nd day with my cuzzies to try some luck and thank God (or should I thank Uncle Lim) I raked in RM340 profit, lowest among my cuzzies -.-" Not a bad year after all =) All balik happy-happy and went makan besar at one of the restaurant there.

Continue to gamble with friends and families the day after and not much gains or losses though.

Paintball session with my Seremban kaki at Port Dickson on the 5th day of CNY. Kns, went inside the paintball ground in a perfect shape but end up coming out with bruises on my left arm and injuries on my right leg. But anyway, it was a good fight after all.

As usual, me and my friends will be having our reunion dinner. Chit-chatting and catch up with each other throughout the session. Went 'sing-k' and gamble at friend's house after that.

These activities more or less keep me occupied for the whole of 1 week and I barely had full hours of sleep. End up having a sore throat and influenza virus invading my white blood cells =)

I shall stop here and before I go, I hope I'm not too late to wish you guys out there an OX-picious Chinese New Year ! !

TMNut kick their butt

My abandoned blog...

Was unable to update it thanks to some ~~EXCELLENT~~ SUCKY connection provided by TMNUTS. Limpeh..seriously their service is as worse as as as....*undefinable*. I apparently got fed-up calling to their customer service. They'll just repeat the same old god damn thing over and over again that even my 7 year old niece would be able to memorize it. Nuff said, image below tells it all...

Ok back to me now, had officially stepped into the 23rd year of my life 10 days ago. A very happy birthday to me. My friend used to tell me or perhaps they actually practice it this way that when your birthday falls on a particular month, then the whole month will be your birthday. Guess I'm not too late to wish myself then, and peeps out there please keep the wishes coming in =)

Nothing special this year though. Cousins dragged me into some beer drinking session at Royale Bintang Hotel and ended up being sober the whole night. And there was this unexpected joint-celebration with one of my friend who happened to have her birthday 4 days earlier than me. Why I say it's unexpected because my presence there was just to celebrate her birthday, but eventually I was pulled inside by my SMART friends. The reason they gave is "Aiyah, few days earlier only, not much different lah. Celebrate now then no need have another one 4 days later loh" L O L..what a great idea they have there. And so for the whole of the song singing session, wish-making session, candle-blowing session and cake-cutting session, I felt like a bystander -.-"'

And yeah, CNY is approaching and I'm having my mood-swing now. Not the type of mood-swing our parents usually had or when the ladies are having their PMS. My version of mood-swing goes like this, from sick-of-attending-class mood, it swing to CNY mood and little by litttle, bit by bit, it slowly swing to GAMBLING mood ! ! ! Hahaha, seriously I can imagine the yelling sound of 'pong' and 'kong' all over the place when the time comes. Happy CNY everyone ! ! !

The year is going, let him go

Hello peeps, time to say goodbye to 2008, we are now finally and officially stepped into year 2009. Happy new year everyone~~~

2008 was a busy year for me and it went by so fast that I hardly noticed the year was passing by. Guess that I was pretty busy and unaware of the time flew passed me so swiftly.

I took a huge decision in the previous year by switching courses from science based to business based and it did paid off pretty well. Though it's kinda bumpy throughout the process but whatever it is, this is what I loved to do and I'm very satisfied with what I'm doing now. Never thought that this would be the turning point of my life.

Throughout the year, been busy with my daily schedule that I hardly find anytime for me to have a good rest. Travelling to and fro from Seremban to Nilai everyday to attend classes was indeed a tiring thing to do. Going for vacation to other states and countries is what I actually been craving to do for last year but I just have to put down on my plannings due to my hectic schedules and also my financial difficulties as well. I even turn down my cousin's offer for a vacation to Australia and my friend's invitation for a holiday trip to Sabah. It falls on the wrong time of the year and and I just couldn't make it. I felt so sorry to disappoint them.

Was it a busy year? I shall give a definite YES.

Was it a fruitful year? NOT REALLY.

Anyway, those are the pasts and I'm wondering at this very moment that what does 2009 has installed for me. Seriously for myself, I have a mixed feelings for the new year. Happy because we are moving to a brand new year with brand new hopes but on the same time I'm feeling rather concern. Maybe because of the economic downturn, maybe because of financial crisis, I have no idea. Hopefully 2009 will better year for me. May this year mark the beginning of a year of pleasure and discovery for me. And for you guys out there, I sincerely wish that all your dreams comes true and a very.....

Past weeks

Past weeks was so so for me. Being conned to go all they way from Seremban to Kajang to have a game of futsal only to know that it has been postponed to 2 days later once I reached there. I was like what the.....!!!! Ok fine, so to make up for their mistakes, my friend decided to bring me to one of the so called 'high class' mamak named Murni at PJ for supper. I was wondering how high class a mamak stall can be. With great anticipation, of we go for our supper. After 20 mins of journey still haven't reach, wondering for the second time "Hmm....sure it's a helluva mamak, no wonder need to take so long to go there." We finally reached at the 30 mins mark. To my surprise, man it was really helluva surprise, it was just an ordinary stall which didn't really make up for the word 'high class'. For the second time I was like what the....!!! Looking at the large amount of people eating there, there sure served real good food. And so we got our table, the next thing people normally would do is none other than ordering rite. As a first timer to eat there, I asked for the menu. This is the dialog:

Me: Macha, menu ada?

Waiter: Menu ar? elek. Sayala menu (pointing to himself)

Me: *Stunned for a moment* Err...bagi saya orange juice satu..

Waiter: Orange juice apa mau?

Me: *Huh, orange juice also got choice?* Ada apa orange juice?

Waiter: Special ada, biasa ada, medium ada extra large ada..

Me: Wow, banyak jenis ada..bagi saya special lah..

Waiter: Makan?

Me: Ada apa makan?

Waiter: Apa pun ada...

Me: *Wow, wtf oso got!!!* nasi lemak ayam special ada?

Waiter: Special tarak la..

Me: -.-"' lu cakap apa pun ada tadi..aih..bagi saya nasi lemak ayam biase la...

Ok, when the foods and drinks are served, my nasi lemak is just an ordinary nasi lemak except that the portion is abit larger. My orange juice special was so special until I didn't see anything special in it. And so I asked the waiter what so special about the orange juice...

Me: Macha, ini orange juice tarak special pun..

Waiter: Special la..ice blended ma..

LOL..I didn't know that orange juice can be so special by having more ice. And I didn't know that high class mamak don't have menus and have their waiter work as a menu instead.

There goes my experience at the 'high class' mamak.

Watched Yes Man few days ago. As a fans of Jim Carrey, I certainly did not miss his appearance in this movie. I must admit that it was not as hilarious as his previous movies but still it makes me laugh-out-loud. Though a lot of the jokes don’t feel all that “new”, darn it, he almost always amuses me. For about 75 minutes it's an affable and funny story, watching Carrey get goofy again is entertaining, and the chemistry between he and Deschanel (co-star) is something special. If you're a Carrey fan, you'll probably enjoy Yes Man. You might even walk away saying yes a little more often =)

I'll probably give it a 7 out of 10. K then, that's all for now, hoping for a great Christmas ahead.

Christmas for Payatas

Christmas is just 2 weeks away and everywhere we go now we can see a variety of decorations awaiting the arrival of December 25. Christmas trees of different heights and sizes are put into display at shopping malls and restaurants bringing the must needed Christmas feel.

Unfortunately it is not in the same for the people living in Payatas. Fot those who heard nothing about Payatas, it is actually a main waste dump located in the suburbs of Manila and was named Smoky Valley after Smoky Mountain. The waste dump in Payatas is filled with garbage piled as high as seven stories in some places. Impoverished squatters, including many children, live in the area and pick through the dump to collect items they can sell. When part of the garbage mountain collapsed on July 2000, partly weakened from a recent typhoon, garbage crashed down onto the huts and shacks below and caught fire, apparently ignited by fallen power cables and stoves in the huts. This disaster has claimed over 200 lives including many innocent children. For over 8 years now, people living there has been living in extreme poverty.

On a daily basis, children pick through newly arrived garbage to collect material to sell. The earnings made by one child are not enough to even buy food for the day. Hence, entire families are forced to climb the mountain each day, hoping to earn enough to feed everyone. In such a dump, it is not rare that children as young as four years old scavenge from early morning till late at night in order to help the ends meet. Therefore, many of them are unable to go to school. Due to the harsh living conditions, many children suffer from malnutrition and skin diseases.

It may be hard for many people to imagine what it would be like to live in such conditions, but that's the daily reality for the thousands who live at the Payatas dump. Many of the residents of Payatas make their living by digging through the influx of "fresh" trash, scavenging for plastic, cardboard, paper, wood, glass, metal and other items that can be sold to recycling agents. The meager earnings made by one person are not enough to buy food for even for a day. Whole families are forced to climb the mountain each day, hoping that together they can earn enough to feed everyone.

Video speaks louder than words. Click HERE to watch the Youtube video. It has highlighted how worst their condition is and that we should felt blessed that we are no living there. Imagine if we are living in such condition, we might not even get to survive the very firsy day itself.

Everyone would not want to celebrate Christmas in such a condition don't we? So are they. Many charity organizations including politicians, celebrities and footballers has started to give donations with an objective to improve their livings. The money raised will help fund the projects already in place, and help fund additional projects aimed at providing better housing, and a means of livelihood for the Payatas community.

It is hoped that by creating better awareness to the plight of these children, more support can be garnered towards their betterment. The little amount we can donate can help bury the poverty. Current donation has reached USD 81,000 and is still increasing. Because Christmas is all about giving, the season becomes more meaningful if we give and support charitable initiatives, particularly, Christmas For Payatas. Together we can give a helping hand hoping that we can bring a joyous Christmas for them this year.

Last month of 2008

Hey peeps,

First post for December. Time passes so fast and now we are at the very last month of the year 2008. It was like the time is moving at 350 miles/hour, for once you are at the beginning and with a blink of eyes, you are now at the very end of the year.

Nothing much happened in the past month though besides:-

a few 'yam cha' sessions with my buddies
a few 'cock-talking' sessions
a few games of bowlings
a few games of snookers
a few rounds of 'mah-jong'
a few rounds of Counter-Strike
a few games of DotA (ok I must admit it's not few for this one)

Anyway guys, it's the very last month of 2008 and everywhere is having the year-end sales, so enjoy it to the fullest as we anticipate the arrival of a brand new 2009 ! ! Yay ! !

By the way, fuel price dropped again =) At least that's something worth to be happy about.

Everyone walks a different story

Have you ever been wondering why are you here in this world, seriously it's a hell no for me. But to the second thought, God created a life for us and there must be some reason behind this purpose. There are many paths and stages in our life where it is up to us to explore and learn throughout the process. We may take the wrong turn and end at the wrong end but hey, take it as a challenge to strengthen ourselves and to cope with the uncertainties in life. When you fall down, don't hesitate to stand up quick and by then you'll see yourselves prevail from the challenges up ahead. This is what make a strong person stronger. By the end of the day, you'll be surprise that a brand new you has been born.

Ever been on a roller coaster? Now I find that a good resemblance for life. When it goes up, it will certainly comes down at a point. This is what actually happen in our lives, no one can stay forever at top and no one can stay forever down either. When everything is not in our way, learn and try to climb back to the top. Don't stop learning and exploring when you're at top for someone down there will try to overcome you and put you right back to the bottom. At this point learn from the mistakes and you'll be back to the top in no time. This is how you'll be moulded into tougher person.

Everything in this world happen for a reason. There is good and bad side for each situations. Take advantage of the good and prepare for the bad and you'll know where you are and what are you for that very moment.

Wonders in Seremban

Was browsing through alot of pics thinking of a topic to blog and out of a sudden this idea came, why not blog about the place which I have stayed for the past 22 years and 11 months. Yea, that's my hometown Seremban. Typically, Seremban is just ordinary town with not much of the attractions, but hey, I have been staying here for more than 2 decades and it truly had evolved from a dull town to one of the boomming town out there.

Here at Seremban stand the largest Jusco shopping mall as far as I'm concern(correct me if I'm wrong). You can basically find anything here be it food, fashion, or technology. Entertainment places like bowling, cinema and karaoke which is nowhere to be found over the past decades is available here as well.

Fancy of alcohols and foreign restaurants, Era Square is the place to be. It houses a variety of bars, beer lounge and restaurants serving Spanish, Taiwanese and Indian food.

Speaking about food and in particular seafood, Seremban Seafood Village is second to none. It serve one of the best seafoods in Seremban and of course the ever famous authentic Seremban baked crab serve with a special sauce can be found here. To be honest there is this time (can't really remember when), I actually went to dine here 4 times in a single week. I just love crabs, certainly my cholesterol level got boost up after that. Other seafoods serve here are exceptionally nice as well. Worth to dine here especially for seafood lover like me

The next attraction in the town is none other than the Siew Pao. The name Siew Pao village has been established over the decades and it definitely has considering the number of branches it has around Malaysia.

In the midst of a storm

Out of overstressed I decided to take a break to remedy my brain cells..had been staying awake for the last 17 to 18 hours finishing up notes I barely touch for whole of the semester. Seriously I know how suffering it has to be to cover all the topics for the whole of 7 weeks in just 2 days..minus the tido and makan time I would've less than 2 days to complete my mission impossible. What is worse that goddamit I'm reading law, which i find it pretty ridiculous for me as I'm not a law student. Cases over the past centuries had to be revised and I seriously need to say WTF they need to do with it. C'mon we are in the 21st century, can't we just look at the present case of Anwar or whatsoever that are happening today.

Enough of law, gonna puke even looking at the 3 letter words, happy thing is that this is gonna be my last paper..I flunk pretty badly on the previous paper and I don't think that this coming paper will do any good either *crossed fingers* Jesus, Guan Yin or even Allah pls bless me..may the force be with me.

Holiday in less then 8 hours time, any available part-time jobs out there? Gonna work, my pocket is getting dry though...

Back to the blogosphere

Has been inactive in the blogsphere for quite sometime now, can't recall how long was it and it all started when all my previous posts has disappeared for God knows what's the reason. and since then, I lost my desire to continue blogging. Nevertheless, all my previous posts were the past now and no point looking back at it after all amirite.

Ok back to current me, will be having my final exam in a couple of days and all this while I've been slacking in my home and driving around the dead town Seremban without any intention to even read a single word in my notes. Enough said, God knows what will happen.

Have been looking for the long holidays instead which will start next week. Been craving for this long break seriously. Will be goin to Sunway for some chilling session at Euphoria a.k.a Ministry of Sound sometime next week. Name sounds good but the environment still for me to test out, hopefully is as euphoric as the name says.

I'm not an alcoholic after all, just an ocassional drinker but why not get real drunk once in a while rite, it's all about chilling after all. Hopefully can bump into some wild incidents which happened last time when I went to one of the club, forget the name though. Don't really wanna tell in details what actually happened as I had blogged it out on my previous post but it's all gone by now and I don't think I'm gonna waste time posting another grandmother's story again. As I said, past just let it be the past.

That's all for the time being folks, time for me to burn some midnight oils...damn!! I hate doing this.
